BLC Robert & Associates Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of partner Mouammar Oozeer as Senior Counsel, recognizing his expertise and his outstanding contribution to the legal profession.

His appointment is a testament of his unwavering commitment and stewardship within the legal community.

Mouammar (Ammar) Oozeer was called to the Bar in Mauritius in 1999 and has since built a distinguished career spanning both the public and private sectors. He served for 12 years in the Attorney-General’s Office and held an in-house position in the City of London before returning to Mauritius in 2012 to join a leading commercial law firm. He joined BLC Robert & Associates in 2016 and was made partner in 2025.

Ammar’s practice focuses on commercial law litigation, tax and public law. with specialist expertise in competition, data protection and IP/IT.
