Job Description

You should;

  • Be qualified with at least 1 year experience as Attorney at Law.
  • Have practical hands-on experience dealing with litigation matters.
  • Have good interpersonal skills.

Responsibility

You will be required to;

  • Understand clients’ needs, manage their expectations, and assist in providing tailored effective legal solutions.
  • Prepare Court documents, notices, and other dispute-related documents.
  • Represent clients in lawsuits.
  • Draft and review legal documents, agreements and other transaction related ancillary documents.
  • Work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work effectively with colleagues.

Requirements

Legal skills

  • To apply legal knowledge and skills in a practical and commercially savvy manner.
  • To display an in-depth knowledge of the core laws and principles applicable to the litigation, corporate and commercial practices.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Assist clients and partners in preparation of cases.
  • Have good knowledge about Court work, proceedings and procedures and provide the right guidance to clients.
  • Have effective litigation and drafting skills.

Communication & Teamwork

  • Ensure regular communication with clients about status of files.
  • Embrace teamwork and thrive in a team environment by demonstrating good listening skills, acknowledging opinions, and actively participating in discussions.

Results driven & Client Focus

  • Be capable of handling high volumes within tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity in dealing with client matters.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills to build trust and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Have high attention to detail and be thorough.
